Hello All,

Unfortunately, the May Full Moon Meditation Workshop that was due to take place this Monday at Hitchin Lavender is no longer going ahead and has been cancelled.

I want to take this opportunity to share why.

This full moon is in Scorpio. And I am a Scorpio. The last few weeks have been particularly spicy and challenging. Projects I’ve been working towards for years have fallen away, deep friendships have fractured, and new (often uncomfortable) insights have emerged around where I need to place my energy and attention.

In times like these, it’s easy to miss the small shoots rising from the ashes and new doorways opening, quiet possibilities revealing themselves on the horizon.

Why am I telling you this?

Because it’s important to me that I share the truth and that I often struggle. I fall. I face grief, loss and confusion just like we all do.

It’s all too common for artists, guides, teachers and elders to present themselves as if they’ve transcended it all, as if their lives are untouched by mess, pain, or uncertainty. Especially online, where it’s easy to craft a gleaming version of life that doesn’t tell the full story.

I don’t want to add to the illusion. I want to say, clearly and honestly: I absolutely don’t have it all figured out either. No one does. We all suffer. We all stumble. And we all find our way again, piece by piece. And in acknowledging this, there is strength and Power

All the wisdom I’ve discovered and offered through words, workshops or ritual has been born from moments like this and acknowledgement. Moments where I’ve been forced to stop, been asked to let go, or had to start again. That’s where the real experiential learning happens and wisdom grows. And when we meet those moments in collaboration with the sacred, something begins to shift. Miracles occur. A new path reveals itself. And we move forward.

I’m taking this full moon to pause, reflect and regroup.

But I’ll be back for the June Full Moon Meditation Workshop, and I’d love to welcome you there.

This next workshop will reflect on the process of letting go and will be offered with deep care, clarity and intention. It will be a space to return to yourself. To reconnect. To listen. And to begin again.

If you were booked for the May workshop, thank you for your patience and understanding. As a gesture of thanks, if you book for the June full moon, I’d love to offer you one free additional space to bring a friend or loved one with you, or gift it to someone who might benefit.

Bookings are now open for the June Full Moon Meditation Workshop.

Join me under the moonlight at Hitchin Lavender, where we’ll gather in stillness, in ritual, and in sacred conversation.

See you again soon.

John
