You Know
I don’t need to tell you that this moment is important.
You know this to be true.
Every moment holds its own weight of meaning. The art of life is how we string that meaning together. What we create or are forced to create is one of life’s greatest questions.
Do we flow, trusting our embodied knowing? Or do we bow to the collective weight of inherited knowledge?
I’m not saying we shouldn’t listen to, or accept, what others tell us to be true. I am saying there needs to be a balance. A living relationship between what we experience through our own choices and what is delivered to us through every form of inherited knowledge.
How knowledge is encountered is the garden in which wisdom grows.
Through the careful cultivation of experience and learning, we deepen our relationship with ourselves as we move through time and space, paying attention to the moments that matter.
Join me tomorrow at 9pm for the full moon Meditation workshop at Hitchin Lavender and allow yourself the space to contemplate how the moments of your life are telling a story. Consider how you might cultivate that story into a tale worthy of the life you’ve been given.
